Preseason: The Boston Celtics dominate the Charlotte Hornets

Boston Celtics basketball is back to flying. In the first preseason friendly match Sunday afternoon against the Charlotte Hornets, Joe Mazzulla’s team achieved a dominant 134-93 win.

After a relatively balanced first quarter, Boston blew up the parquet in the second, winning it by 17 points. Charlotte was unable to recover for the remainder of the race.

Jaylen Brown stole the show from the Celtics, producing 24 points, five rebounds and an assist with 8 of 11 shots from the field and 3 of 5 from the arc. Tatum finished the evening with 16 points, six rebounds and three assists on just 4 of 11 shots from the field and 2 of 8 three-pointers.

Boston’s latest addition also played well, as Malcolm Brogdon shone in the passing game. He had 11 points and five rebounds, but his nine assists paved the way for Boston to win.

For Charlotte, a bad start, having only shot 5 of 33 from three points. Kelly Oubre Jr. led them with 17 points. Stellar point guard LaMelo Ball finished with 14 points, seven rebounds and four assists but shooting just 5 of 19 from the field.
