Plus500 new sponsor of the NBA franchise

Plus500a global multi-asset fintech group operating trading technology platforms, today announced a major multi-year sponsorship agreement with Chicago Bulls, iconic NBA team and one of the most established sports franchises in the world. With this agreement, Plus500 becomes the official global partner of the Bulls.

The Plus500 logo will be the first ever to appear exclusively on the front of the Illinois team’s warm-up shirts and jackets, starting with the Bulls’ first pre-season game at the United Center on October 4, 2022. Plus, Plus500 it will also have access to branding rights as an “Official Global Online Trading Partner”, creating a truly unique partnership that sees a strong interconnection between digital trading platforms and sport.

The agreement between the two companies stems from the intention to respond to the substantial growth of the interest of the community of traders for online trading platforms in recent years. Thanks to its client-centric approach, Plus500 will offer intuitive and accessible trading products.

The four-year partnership will encompass various marketing elements, community initiatives, social content, events and more to promote brand awareness and advance the core principles in common: innovation, culture and success. In addition, it will highlight Plus500’s ambitions to develop its global footprint by entering new markets and, in particular, its link with the city of Chicago, the heart of the US futures market and already home to Plus500’s operations in the US.

The Chicago Bulls sponsorship coincides with Plus500’s continued expansion and its desire to launch new products for all types of consumers, resulting in an effort to establish a strong and growing position in the US futures market, which is seen as growing in the long run. To bolster its position in the futures market, Plus500 is now a full member of the CME and the Group is already making progress in expanding its clearing capabilities into other global futures markets.

The sponsorship deal with the historic NBA franchise is the first ever in the United States for Plus500, adding to an impressive array of major international sports partnerships in key growing markets, includingAtalanta in Italy, BSC Young Boys in Switzerland and Legia Warsaw in Poland, in addition to the past seven-year partnership agreement with Atletico Madrid in Spain.
