Pilsen dealt with Baník. Liberec cheers after the derby. Olomouc turned around, Řezníček shone

In the highest competition, the West Bohemians improved their unbeaten record to 34 games and partially got their appetite back after Wednesday’s sensational elimination from the domestic cup after a 2:3 defeat on the field of the third division Hlučín.

Since August 2009, Plzeň has not lost to Ostrava in the 27th league match in a row. Baník, under old coach Pavlo Hapal, hesitated for the first time after the previous two competitive wins and is in tenth place.

Zlín sent Lamin Jawo into the lead at the end of the first half. The home team Hanác equalized in the 70th minute, when Rudolf Reiter knocked the ball past his own goalkeeper. Vít Beneš completed the turnaround in the 82nd minute.

Sigma scored points in the highest competition for the fifth time in a row and moved to sixth place in the incomplete table. The second-to-last “Shoemakers” have not won their 21st consecutive away game since last August in the league and have not scored after four draws there. But they still have a six-point lead on the last Pardubice.

Michael Rabušic put Liberec in the lead against Jablonec in the 41st minute, and Mick van Buren, the second attacker, added the insurance. Slovan won in the top competition after four games and leapfrogged the opponents by five points to seventh place in the incomplete table. Jablonečtí did not score in the last three rounds and they are in 12th place.

Liberec did not lose in the Podještěd derby for the third time in a row, beating their North Bohemian rival at home after four games. Jablonec did not score for the third time out of the last four away league duels and in the cup total they did not score four times in a row.

Brno’s captain Řezníček decided the match against Pardubice with hits in the 40th, 50th and 74th minutes, and with nine goals he caught up with the league’s top scorer, Stanislav Tecl from Slavia. Substitute Dominik Mareš only reduced in the 80th minute.

Zbrojovka scored points after three defeats and moved to eighth place, in addition, they have a playoff against leaders Plzeň. Pardubice did not follow up on the previous home win and lost nine of the last 10 rounds. Zbrojovka won the match on the opponent’s field after two defeats and won 12 of the total 17 points in the league season away from home.

The thirteenth round will culminate in the Prague derby between Slavia and Sparta on Sunday in Eden. Even before that, České Budějovice will face Hradec Králové, Slovácko will face Teplice and Mladá Boleslav will face Prague’s Bohemians 1905.
