Pedalist Orluis Aular won the podium in Asuncion

Venezuelan cycling is highly represented at the 2022 South American Games. For this Wednesday, one of the riders of the Creole delegation, Orluis Aular, won gold in Asunción.

Aular conquered the podium in the second stop of the Olympic cycle, he was also accompanied by his compatriot Leangel Linares, who obtained third place in the men’s individual road race.

The flag bearer got rid of the thorn with a time of 03:42:39 that gave him the first place in the competition, since in the Bolivarian Games of Valledupar, which were held in July, unfortunately he did not manage to hang the gold.

The test took place on the José Asunción Flores waterfront, where the men’s individual time trial is also scheduled to take place.

This is the second gold metal that Venezuela has obtained from the hand of the cyclist, hours earlier, Jennifer Cesar was titled as South American champion.
