Paraguay showed signs of character to stay with a long-suffering victory in women’s basketball in the 5×5 modality, beating Chile by 67 to 57.
A game that had as leader and Guarani flag bearer Paola Ferrari who again led to victory for the team of Paraguay. Marta Peralta was another standout.
A key victory for Paraguay, which is the only leader with 4 points and if they win their next two games they will take the gold. The next match will be this Saturday against Uruguay starting at 5:00 p.m. at the SND Arena. The last day in the same place against Colombia on Sunday from 7:30 p.m.
