On the night of Saturday i Carabinieri of the Riccione Company carried out targeted checks in the areas of Cattolica and San Giovanni in Marignano to sift through the places of the Queen’s nightlife and to prevent petty crime and juvenile delinquency.
In particular, they were deferred for the crime of unauthorized carrying of objects capable of offending: a young foreigner, who was surprised in the streets of the center in possession of a brass knuckle, hidden in his pants. The object was immediately seized; a homeless man, already known to the police, who – following a check – was instead found in possession of a 18 cm knife, clearly subject to seizure; a local person who, following a thorough vehicle check, had a baseball bathidden in the trunk of the car.
Instead, a thirty-two year old who, subjected to control, was caught in possession of a bicycle that turned out to be theft and a backpack containing various burglary tools will respond instead of the charge of receiving stolen goods and unjustified possession of keys and lockpicks.
He was deferred for the crime of detention for the purpose of drug dealing and a nineteen-year-old local who, following a check, was surprised with a few grams of hashish and marijuana, as well as with the cash sum of 400 euros, withheld proceeds from dealing activities.
A local subject, subjected to house arrest, was instead surprised outside the home without any type of authorization and therefore deferred for evasion.
Two road users then tested positive for the breath test, resulting in the withdrawal of their driving license.
Two people were found in possession of 1.2 grams of “marijuana” and 1.7 grams of “hashish”, they were reported to the Prefect of Rimini as drug users.
