A campaign with the three international calls to put yourself in the place of those affected by ‘bullying’
The Spanish Football Federation has launched a campaign against bullying in which it emphasizes the need not to look the other way to be close to the victims and unmask the aggressors in schools and institutes. Three footballers from La Roja, Nico Williams, from Athletic, Álvaro Morata, from Atlético, and Gavi, from Barcelona, put their faces and voices in an austere spot, without artifice, and with a very clear message: «Put yourself in the right place of those who suffer ‘bullying’. Support them, report it.”
The federal entity has posted the spot on its website and has chosen Morata as the protagonist. The forward of the mattress team appears from behind about to put on a shirt while hurtful words are heard in the background, all of them linked to being overweight. The music enhances the slogan. ‘Gordo’, is read on the garment in the place where the name is inscribed. Two similar videos denounce bullying through the words of Nico Williams and Gavi. On the rojiblanco shirt, the word ‘pringao’; in that of the culé, ‘dwarf’.
