NFL: NFL 1 p.m. game summary, October 2, 2022

The Philadelphia Eagles (4-0) forced five turnovers against Trevor Lawrence and the Jacksonville Jaguars (2-2) to maintain their perfect record and win 29-21.

Philly begins a season with a four-game winning streak for the first time since 2004. The Eagles ended the season with a 13-3 record and a Super Bowl loss to the New England Patriots.

Lawrence had his hands full against the Eagles defense. He became the first player to suffer four fumbles in the 21st century. He also threw an interception in the third quarter.

The sophomore quarterback completed 11 of 23 passes for 174 yards. He threw two touchdown passes to Jamal Agnew.

The Eagles’ rushing game continued to take its toll in the duel, as four players combined for 210 rushing yards. Miles Sanders led the team with 134 yards and two touchdowns. Jalen Hurts and Kenneth Gainwell also found the pay zone with their legs.
