Namwon-si is attracting attention as a venue for various sports competitions as the nation-wide sports competitions are held one after another.
According to the city on the 31st, eight tournaments including badminton, volleyball, foot volleyball, roller, and baseball were completed during the month of October.
From the 28th to the 30th of last month, the 1st Chunhyang Cup National Gateball Tournament was held, and on the 29th, the Namwon Mayor Cup Jeonbuk Club Tennis Tournament was held.
The 1st Chunhyang Cup National Gateball Tournament was held at Chunhyanggol Sports Park, with 1,500 players from 17 cities and provinces and 64 teams gathered on 8 courts.
On the first day of the tournament, adaptation training and the preliminary round match were held on the second day, and the final league and tournament matches were held on the third day.
In the Namwon Market Cup Jeonbuk Friendship Tennis Tournament, 600 people from 255 teams participated in three places including the Chunhyanggol Sports Park tennis court.
In November, national-scale events such as billiards, taekwondo, youth volleyball, and marathon will be held in succession.
