Who will be crowned the best baseball team in the world? The MLB World Series between the Houston Astros and the Philadelphia Phillies is streaming live on free-to-air this Friday night.

The broadcaster Sport1 broadcasts the complete MLB “Best of Seven” series between the Houston Astros and the Philadelphia Phillies on its platforms. Up to four live games will be available on free-to-air TV, including the opener on Friday night, October 29, starting at 1:30 a.m. from Houston’s Minute Maid Park. Next to commentator Andreas Thies, former Bundesliga baseball player Matthias Ondracek is on the microphone. For the Sport1 expert, the accumulated experience makes the Astros the favourite. The Phillies, on the other hand, can hope for a surprise with the euphoria that has been sparked and the fanatical home crowd.

Up to four MLB duels live on free TV

All games of the upcoming World Series will be broadcast live on the Sport1 platforms. With game 1 on Saturday night from 1.30 a.m. and game 2 on Sunday night from 2 a.m. and possible games six and seven, a total of up to four duels can be seen on Sport1 on free TV. Andreas Thies and Günter Zapf as well as expert Matthias Ondracek comment on the microphone. The complete “Best of Seven” series will also be broadcast live on the pay TV channel Sport1+ and the multisport streaming platform Sport1 Extra shown with original US commentary.

Under the motto “Friday Night Baseball”, AppleTV is also showing today’s opening game of the MLB final live on Saturday night.
