Mischa Zverevbrother of Alexander, gave his point of view in a conversation with Eurosport about the current situation of the ranking with Carlos Alcaraz as leader: “The year in general was very strange. I spoke with Grigor Dimitrov and he told me that a few years ago he had 7,000 points in the ATP Rankings and was number 7 in the world, while now Alcaraz has 6,740 and is number one. It has not been a normal year: coronavirus, Wimbledon and several withdrawals of top players. It was strange. I hope that next year will be a little more normal, that there will be points in all the Grand Slams and that all tennis players can play where want”.
