Millionaires: Colombian press praises and hurts players directed by Gamero | Fabian Vargas | Colombian Soccer | Betplay League

What about Millionaires? Why the streak of games without winning, which has not allowed him to qualify for the BetPlay II League home runs? The answers have not been deciphered by Alberto Gamerocoach of the albiazul team.

The truth is that the ambassador has 29 points and three games to seal his classification for home runs; and although the figures of the negative series worry the fansin Millionaires there is time to take a new breath and resume the role of clear candidate for the title.

However, from the different opinion spaces, the reasons that explain the albiazul slump are sought. Thus, a theory, from a former Millionaire, talks about the praise of the Colombian sports press and how it could have affected the mentality of the young team led by Alberto Gamero.

Did the Millionaires players get ‘dizzy’? Can so many exaggerated comments, and praises albiazul football, affect footballers?

The door to that thesis was opened by Fabián Vargas, a former soccer player with a long journey through Colombia and the world, and who played in Millonarios.

And it is that in the Bogota team there is a base of young players who stand out: Andrés Llinás, Dewar Victoria, Daniel Ruiz, Carlos Andrés Gómez, and another handful of soccer players who have received praise, but, as ugly as it sounds, they have not won. nothing and have not yet been consecrated.

The mind can fail and end up unfocused. That’s why Fabián Vargas gave an example of a player who was a sensation in Millonarios a few years ago, who was sold by the media as the new blue star, and who is currently lost from footballwithout confirming that it was a crash.

Vargas recalled the case of Christian Huérfano, who came out of the albiazul quarry and who was a sensation for the team in 2017 and 2018, but who left in 2019 and does not play today.

“He had scored a great goal in the classic against Santa Fe; they interviewed him on Transmilenio; they made all kinds of notes… And I made a respectful criticism of the media: all these young people who are just starting out, you have to take them slowly. Because that destabilizes anyone”, commented Vargas in the ‘Vbar Snail’.

Vargas added: “Emotionally it is very difficult for you to get to know you overnight, to be asked for an autograph or a photo, to earn more money… They are a number of things that destabilize any human being”.

The former Bogota soccer player remarked that the majority of Millonarios players who have been in the microcycles of the Colombian National Team, their level has declined. “The only one who did not enter that pothole was Andrés Llinás; and it is thanks to his mental structure that he is stronger to handle these kinds of situations.”
