Men’s Bundesliga: finalists have been determined

TSG Backnang suffered a 5:7 defeat at JC 66 Bottrop on the last day of the women’s fight, but this didn’t change the standings. The Württemberg women defended their title from the previous year and thus won their fourth championship. The team from JSV Speyer came in runners-up, and was in good shape with a 12-1 win against BC Karlsruhe.

For the men, after the last day of the preliminary round in the north and south, the participants in the final round on November 19, 2022 in Hamburg have been determined. The Hamburg judo team became North Champion, securing the top of the table with a 12:2 victory against the judo team in Hanover. The second participant in the final round from the North group is Sportunion Annen, who also came up trumps with 12:2 against league newcomer Remscheider TV. Defending champion TSV Abensberg defended first place in the southern group with a 12-2 win against JC Rüsselsheim on the ninth day of the fight and is in the final round together with JC Leipzig. Although the Saxons lost 5:9 at JSV Speyer, they were able to keep second place in the table.

In the final round on 19.11. The Hamburg judo team will fight against JC Leipzig and TSV Abensberg against Sportunion Annen in the semifinals. The winners of the two encounters then determine the German team champion 2022 on the same day.
