Municipal officials participated in a meeting with the headquarters of the Trelew Regional Unit of the Chubut Police, the Volunteer Fire Department and with authorities of the Zonal Hospital, to discuss the response to emergencies, within the urban case and on routes.
The head of Civil Defense, Sebastián Bustos, and the Health Coordinator, Cecilia Vera, were present for the Municipality. The meeting was held at the police headquarters, with the participation of the head of the Regional Unit, Inspector Commissioner, Cristián Cedrón; and the second chief, Commissioner Gabriel Araujo. Volunteer Fire Chief Cristian Otero was also there.
After the meeting, Sebastián Bustos explained that the meeting arose “after some inconveniences of transfer due to accidents that occurred in the city and on the routes, in circumstances where people’s lives were in danger.”
“We had a response from the Hospital, we agreed to work together and coordinate the way of acting in these circumstances. From the Hospital they mentioned a lack of personnel, whether drivers or doctors, but it is something they are trying to solve,” he said.
