Mar del Plata: CAP archers participate in the Evita National Games

It is the presentation of the discipline, Archery, in the Evita Games. Olivia Campos from Esquel and Santiago Ibáñez from Villa Futalaufquen have been participating since yesterday in the most popular sporting event in our country.

Archery is completing its first participation in the national instance of the Evita Games that began last Monday and will run until Saturday, October 29 at the Federal Shooting Range in the city of Mar del Plata.

A total of 23 jurisdictions are represented in the games after having culminated with the local, zonal and provincial instances.

Each of the delegations representing the provinces were made up of two archers in the Recurve Sub 14 category, female and male, as well as a technical director and a delegate.

The members of the Chubut delegation are: Olivia Campos from the Andean Patagonian Archery Club and Santiago Ibáñez, who emerged from the CAP workshop in Villa Futalaufquen.

The minors traveled in charge of two companions, members of the Esquelense club, Vanesa Soledad Ardito and Néstor Fabian Carrizo.

During the day yesterday, in the afternoon, the individual practices for both sexes began and after a meeting of delegates, and team review, the qualifying rounds began.

While for today, Wednesday, the men’s qualifying stage is scheduled, until defining the semifinals, which will begin at 9 am. Starting at 11 am, the eliminatory rounds in the women’s category are scheduled, until defining the semifinals.

Meanwhile, between 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m., the official practice for shooting by mixed teams is scheduled.

The program for the remaining days is as follows:

Day 3 – Thursday 10/27:

9 a.m. – Mixed Team Qualifiers, until defining the semifinals.

Day 4 – Friday 10/28:

9 a.m. – Definition of bronze medal in mixed teams.

9:30 a.m. – Definition of gold and silver medal in mixed teams.

10 a.m. – Definition of bronze medal in Men’s Individual.

10:30 a.m. – Definition of gold and silver medal in Men’s Individual.

11 a.m. – Definition of bronze medal in Women’s Individual.

11:30 a.m. – Definition of gold and silver medal in Women’s Individual.

It was also reported that the field team in charge of Archery will be made up of Federico Andrada, Víctor Caramello, Darío Merricheli, Roberto Poos, Jorge Pousa and Román Campos (Esquel).
