LIVE Ball – The government will not give permission for football matches until there are significant changes in the PSSI management body.
This is as stated by a member of the Joint Independent Fact Finding Team (TGIPF) for the Kanjuruhan tragedy, Akmal Marhali.
TGIPF has provided a number of recommendations to PSSI after the Kanjuruhan Tragedy. The TGIPF report has even been submitted to the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo.
If the recommendations are not implemented, then do not expect the government to give permission to organize League 1 to League 3.
“We hope that the recommendations will be implemented. In a clear recommendation, the government does not give permission to organize the League,” said Akmal, Thursday, October 27, 2022.
Akmal said, there must be a commitment with PSSI to improve the governance of Indonesian football.
As the most important moral responsibility, General Chairman Mochamad Iriawan and the entire executive committee (EXCO) resigned from their current positions.
