A brace from Robert Lewandowski and a first-half goal from Ansu Fati were enough for Barcelona to beat Villarreal 3-0 at the Spotify Camp Nou.

The Polish striker opened the scoring in the 31st minute after cutting Gerónimo Rulli’s heel and scoring with the already defeated goalkeeper. Lewandowski himself made it 2-0 in the 35th minute with a threaded shot from the edge of the area that went in tight to Rulli’s left. And, in the 38th minute, Ansu Fati achieved the third heel to empty goal.

In the second half, Raphinha was able to score the fourth in the 78th minute, but sent a Dembélé cross from inside the area.

Villarreal’s best chance in the entire match was a corner shot by Arnaut Danjuma in the 22nd minute that crashed just outside the net.
