Kingsley Coman back in training with Bayern

After three and a half weeks of absence, Kingsley Coman returned to training with Bayern Munich on Monday morning, on the eve of the Champions League match against the Czechs of Plzen (6:45 p.m.), during which he will however be preserved. .

At the start of the session, Coman exchanged a few balls with Benjamin Pavard, Dayot Upamecano and Matthijs de Ligt in particular, before receiving a hug from coach Julian Nagelsmann and applause from his teammates.

“+King+ is fine, he didn’t feel any pain. After the public part of training, he trained individually. For tomorrow, it’s not (possible). (But) we will increase the load and he will be an option for the group in Dortmund” on Saturday in the league, said Nagelsmann.

Victim of a muscle tear in the right thigh in training on Friday September 9 before the reception of Stuttgart, the French international missed the gathering of the Blues in mid-September and the two League of Nations matches against Austria and in Denmark.

His return to collective training at Bayern in the coming days is good news for the France team, seven weeks before the World Cup in Qatar (November 20-December 18).

Julian Nagelsmann said last week that we would have to see when Coman could play again with Bayern, while the Bundesliga shock in Dortmund is scheduled for Saturday (6:30 p.m.), four days after the C1 match.
