Judokas from Atacama triumph in the finals of school sports games

Seremi del Deporte points out that the results are historic.

Three bronze medals has won the judo delegation from Atacama, who is competing in the national finals of the school sports games of the Ministry of Sport of Chile Instituto Nacional Deportes in Pucón.

The first medal was won byhe judoka from the Atacama Catholic High School, Carlos Villalobos, in the -40 kilos category, in second place, Tiare Robledo, from the Luis Uribe School in Tierra Amarilla who competed in the -44 kilos category and finally Víctor Vega, from the Luis Uribe School from Tierra Amarilla, in the category -53 kilos.

In this regard, the Seremi del Deporte, Arling Guzmán, pointed out that “These results are historic for Atacameño judo at the school level and reflect the work being done by clubs in the discipline that have the support of educational establishments, as well as Mindep-IND, which is investing in the growth of judo through Training Program “Growing in Movement” and the Sports Area of ​​Social Participation”.

In addition, there is the volleyball group in Villarrica, where the students of the Huasco Japan High School debuted with a triumph.

The students of the Colegio Cervantino de Copiapó, directed by the DT, Segundo Aróstica, won by 2 sets to 0 to the Aysén region.
