A week after winning the DM silver medal in the U18 age group, Sara-Joy Bauer, who competes for TSG Backnang, followed suit and won the title in the U21 DM. At the title fights in Frankfurt/Oder, Bauer won the title in the weight class up to 63 kg. Her club mate Tayla Grauer also reached the final, which she lost and was therefore rewarded with DM silver as runner-up in the weight class up to 70 kg.
