Judo: fourteen Floracois at the recovery course

Saturday, October 1, the Floracois judokas participated in the first course organized by the departmental committee. In the morning, a group of youngest and youngest, born from 2009 to 2012, thrilled the fourteen Floracois about this training led by the departmental technical adviser, Sébastien Bonnin. On the program: two hours of practice on the mat with mobility work, alone, in pairs, standing and on the ground. Technical work and oppositions to start the season well and find the practitioners of the other clubs of Lozère, the objective being to create a minimal departmental team for which the Floracois are volunteers. In the afternoon, twelve young people were on the mat for a course dedicated to arbitration rules. Mayssa, Naria and Valentin were replaced on this course by Robin, a cadet in preparation for the black belt. On the program, small exercises to get to know the impact values, points awarded when one of the judokas fall to the ground, the specific rules. Even if one is not moving towards a career as an official in judo, knowing the rules, the gestures of the referee allow the competitor to understand and manage his fight. 2h15 of practice with supporting video. Sixty judokas were on the tatami including Séraphin, Mathilde, Mathyas, Sarah, Arthus, Armand, Audren, Yanis, Milan, Corto, Louise and Meven. A busy Saturday, a great boost from the Floracois club with these fifteen participants over the day.
