Juan Rujano is elected as president of the Venezuelan Paralympic Committee

This Saturday, John Rujano was elected as the new president of the Venezuelan Paralympic Committee (The piece) for the period 2022-2026.

“We assume with great commitment, dedication and above all love for our Paralympic Movement”, Rujano expressed in his Instagram account.

“With the unanimous support of all the federations and Commissions, we were elected as new authorities of the Board of Directors, Council of Honor and Council of Controller, for the Period 2022-2026,” he said.

The process was carried out with total normality, at the headquarters of the National Sports Institute (IND)hand in hand with the governing body of electoral power, the National Electoral Council (CNE)which for the first time takes part in an activity within this sports entity.

In his networks, Rujano reported that among the federations that voted and endorsed the process, are: Sports Center for people with intellectual disabilities; Sports for people with cerebral palsy (@fevedepc); Wheelchair sports (@feves_ruedasvzla /@fevesruedasvzla); The Sports Federation of the Blind of Venezuela (@fepociveoficial); Triathlon Federation (@triatlon.vzla); from Badminton (@fvbad); of Cycling (@fvciclismooficial); Archery (@feveta.vzla); Canoeing (@fvcanotaje); Table Tennis (@fvtmoficial).

They also endorsed the National Athletes Commission (@richardespinoza52); of Trainers (@elavitasmadt); of Judges and Referees (@puerto.ruby), and the National Classifiers Commission (@ftlestert).

The new authorities will have the duty to fully develop the movement and relate it to the federations, associates and clubs to achieve the certification of athletes, involving the private sector in the process.

“We will build a Copaven where we all enter, fully complying with the regulations of the @paralympics y @paralympicsapc and PROVIDE THE BASES for the fulfillment of our Venezuelan Statutes and Laws”, assured the new president of the Venezuelan Paralympic Committee in his networks.
