Jannik Sinner eliminated from entry by Marc-Andrea Huesler at the Rolex Paris Masters

New sensation at the Paris-Bercy Masters 1000. After the defeat, earlier in the day of Marin Cilic against Lorenzo Musetti, Jannik Sinner lost this Monday two sets to nil (6-2, 6-3) against the Swiss Marc-Andrea Huesler, however lower ranked than him more than 50 places at the ATP.

Huesler had an accomplished game. He first broke from the start of the match (1-0), to give himself a lead that the 12th in the world was never able to regain. The Italian, 12th in the world, failed to convert several break points at 3-2, 15-40. This is the moment that the Swiss chose to further raise his level of play and keep his face-off before punishing Sinner by double-breaking at 5-2.

The second set first saw the two men leveling up to 2-2, before experiencing the same scenario as the first. Huesler broke once, then again at the end of the game, to win in just over an hour (1h07). The next round will reserve a new big challenge for him since he joins Karen Khachanov there.
