The past is still for Bryce Harper. Finally. The baseball superstar has reached the World Series with the Philadelphia Phillies. He faces the Houston Astros in a maximum of seven Major League Baseball (MLB) playoffs starting Friday and all eyes will once again be on him. Just like in 2019, when Harper left the Washington Nationals for Philadelphia after seven seasons and then made the slip of the tongue when he said at his introduction: “We want to bring the title back to DC.” What was just a laugh at first developed became a running gag over the course of the season, as Washington actually won the World Series that year – without Harper.
