Head’s new recyclable tennis ball tubes

Responsible with the environment, that is the hallmark. HEAD is producing new ball cans made of PET material, that is, totally recyclable, thus becoming aware of sustainability.

HEAD Thanks to its work and innovation, it continues to be one of the leading brands in the tennis and paddle tennis sector. The brand has confirmed the new commitment they have with the environment launching all new canisters of balls that are fully recyclable.

These new models are already being produced. As the stocks of the previous models are exhausted, they can begin to be seen. The great feature of these new Head ball cans is that they are much more sustainable. They all have much of PET plastic materialnamely, fully recyclable. Two other aspects that have been modified are that the label is shorter and less ink is used on the packaging.

All the ball models in the Head catalog (Head Tour, Head Tour XT, Head Pro, Head Championship y Head Team) are now available with the new sustainable tubes. Despite the great change in the new tubes, all of them continue to guarantee the optimal pressure of the balls, so the performance will be the same.

This new tube design is part of the initiative Head Rethink. This project has objective to improve the sports performance of HEAD products while minimizing the environmental footprint. The sustainability pillars of the new HEAD packaging are R&D in new materials, as well as the use of renewable energies and the development of products with recycled materials.
