Harry Kane has no interest in leaving the Premier League

FC Bayern has been closely associated with a commitment from England star Harry Kane for months. According to reports, the Munich team has already registered their interest with the players and is pushing for a transfer in the summer of 2023. According to current reports, however, the German record champions have poor prospects in the competition for the striker.

With 255 goals in 396 games for Tottenham Hotspur, Harry Kane is one of the best strikers in English Premier League history. With his penalty goal in yesterday’s London derby against Arsenal (1: 3), the 29-year-old has secured a (further) place in the history books of the EPL: Kane has scored his 100th away goal, that’s ahead of him none made it in the Premier League.

Kane has been linked with a Spurs departure for some time. FC Bayern in particular is said to be very interested in the English international. However, according to transfer insider David Ornstein of The Athletic, there is currently relatively little evidence that Kane will leave London at the end of the season.

“Kane is too rooted in England”

Im Podcast „Rio Ferdinand Presents FIVE“ Ornstein said of Kane and his sporting future: “Well, we’ve seen the links with Bayern Munich. If you talk to some people in the industry, they say they believe Harry Kane is so rooted in this country that he won’t play him abroad.” Even though Kane hasn’t won any trophies with Tottenham , he feels comfortable with the Spurs. According to Ornstein, this is also due to coach Antonio Conte, who fully relies on the experienced striker and has sparked a new “winner mentality” in the club.

Another reason why many pundits and fans don’t expect Kane to leave the Premier League is that the forward is keen to break Alan Shearer’s goalscoring record. With 260 goals, he is the record goalscorer in the Premier League. Kane has 190 hits so far.

Kane is contractually bound to Tottenham until 2024. The Spurs would like to extend the contract in the near future. According to consistent reports, FC Bayern contacted the players’ website last summer and registered their interest.
