Spain, with Aalla, Arrojeria, Etxeberria and Arcos in their ranks, could not bid farewell to the Carpati Trophy with a two-goal difference (25-23, 10-8 at half-time) against Romania, organizer of the tournament. The team led by José Ignacio Prades and Imanol Álvarez closes the week with a balance of one victory and two defeats that, however, do not tarnish the great work of the Bera Bera representatives with the senior team.

On the other hand, the left side of Super Amara, Mariane Fernandes, was chosen MVP in Brazil’s defeat against Sweden (33-30) thanks to her six goals scored.

La Liga returns on Wednesday

Eleven days after beating Grafometal La Rioja in Logroño and placing second in the standings only behind Rocasa –the only team that has won everything so far, four out of four–, Bera Bera will once again play a new game of the Iberdrola Warriors League. It will be at Gasca, starting at seven in the afternoon and with Motive.co Gijón as rival.

For the appointment, Imanol Álvarez will not be able to count on the already known casualties of Malena Cavo and Sara Gil, but he will be able to count on Giuliana Gavilán, the pivot who is making a very good impression at the start of the season due to her effectiveness in the six meters. The Argentine international, who has scored 13 goals in the first four league games, has made her numbers the best of the decade in that position, surpassing those of Polonio, Cesáreo, Terés, Sans, Camejo, Ederra, Núñez and company.
