Fury has a replacement for Joshua! He should complete another trilogy this year

And as it seems in recent weeks, the information about the definitive end of Tyson Fury in the boxing world is not true. Gypsy King, as the lanky Briton is nicknamed, should after all be reintroduced between the sixteen ropes at the end of this year. But it will not be with Anthony Joshua, with whom extensive debates have been held in recent weeks, but with another compatriot.

Fury is due to fight for the third time in his career with 38-year-old Derek Chisora, with whom he boxed in 2011 and 2014 and each time he managed to win. Information provided by respected promoter Frank Warren. “We’ve been trying to get an opponent for three or four weeks, and we finally got Derek Chisora, who will fight Fury on December 3,” confirmed the British promoter.

Seventy-year-old Warren, who also holds the position of boxing manager, confirmed that Fury still wants to fight this year. “Tyson would like one more fight this year. We were expecting him to share it with Oleksandr Usyk in December, but he is not available and I hope it comes out sometime in February. We want to get Tyson back in action, but unfortunately it didn’t work out with Anthony,” admitted Warren, who would like an even match.

“I hope it will be an even fight, but at the same time I think Tyson is still above all boxers. Derek could have an interesting fight with him, because he is less vulnerable than Joshua,” added the British promoter.

Fury would thus very likely face Chisora, who is four years his senior, for the third time in his rich career, while the WBC champion was only 22 years old when they first met. Fury managed to win on points, three years later he finished his opponent before the limit in the tenth round.
