Dhe Hakro Merlins Crailsheim have achieved their first victory in the Basketball Europe Cup. The team of trainer Sebastian Gleim managed a 76:61 (46:25) win against the Romanian club CSO Voluntari on Wednesday. With one win and two defeats, the Bundesliga team is currently second in Group H.
The preliminary decision was already made in the second quarter. With a furious 24:8, Crailsheim won the second ten minutes and went into the break with a 21-point lead. After the change of sides, the hosts easily took the lead over time. The best shooters were Jaren Lewis with 15 points and 14 rebounds and Otis Livingston (15 points).
