Dwight Howard, frustrated with the NBA, is considering retirement!

As the start of the NBA season approaches, Dwight Howard is still on the market. At 36, the interior has nevertheless been the subject of many rumours. But like other veterans (Carmelo Anthony in particular), the former Los Angeles Lakers player has an uncertain future.

About to retire? This is obviously an option! Without saying if he has any leads to evolve in the NBA, the Atlanta native has displayed his frustration with his limited role off the bench in recent years.

“I want to play, but at the same time, there are no teams that really want to let me play. That’s how I feel since my last situation with the Lakers. I felt like I had does enough to help them win a championship to earn a spot on the team.

With a chance to start and have big minutes. But it didn’t happen. After that, I said to myself, ‘I don’t want to break my ass for another summer, train three times a day, go on a crazy diet, do everything, then come back to a team. and sit on the bench without really helping a team win.

And it was like, ‘Damn, do I just want to quit and do other things or come back and show people that I can still contribute?'” Dwight Howard confessed for the All The Smoke podcast.

A speech that should not necessarily reassure the contenders for the title. And in any case, with the evolution of the NBA, it now seems complex to imagine Dwight Howard with an important status…

A stat to give Dwight Howard some respect
