Double date for Soriano badminton next weekend

The two events will be held in Oviedo for the youngest, from the sub13 and sub17 categories, while the seniors will do so in the capital of Toledo. The two competitions are National Masters to which the best national players will attend with the horizon set on the Spanish championships that will be held in the coming weeks.

For the appointment of the lower categories, there will be eight players who will represent the Club Badminton Soria-CS24, each one of them with different objectives.

Within the sub17, both Javier Barrios and Daniela Corchón start as favorites in the individual category, specifically as the first and fourth seed.

Daniela Corchón will double the competition participating in the mixed double box together with Andrés Pérez from León. Therefore, both Sorianos will seek to fight for the medals.

Meanwhile, the six U13 players, in their first season in the category, have their goal of gaining experience and, with positive results, moving up the national ranking that will allow them to face the Spanish championship from a more advantageous position.

The young people from Soria will be: Naroa Alvaro, Jimena Ayllón, Aarón Barrera, Alvaro Gómez, Iker González and Daniel Marín, all of them registered in both the singles and doubles draws.

For their part, seniors from Soria, both from the capital and from El Burgo de Osma,
They will travel to Toledo where the Master to be played there will be, practically, a
advance of the Spanish Championship since almost all of the
contenders for the national title.

Despite the high level that is expected in this weekend’s test, the aspirations of the Sorianos go through making a hole in the podium. On behalf of the Soria-CS24 Badminton Club, Manuel Acero, David Hernansanz, Santiago Martínez and José Carlos Perez will participate and on behalf of the AD89: Esther Pereira, Cristina Puebla and Sergio Latorre. Many of them start as seeded in various categories predicting the achievement of a medal.
