Cremona Sera – U18 Aics National Judo Championships: gold (Gabriele Adorno) and a bronze (Nicole Capelli) for the Kodokan

RICCIONE – A gold and a bronze are the loot of the U18 Kodokan Cremona team in the Aics National Judo Championships. At the Playhall in Riccione, Gabriele Adorno won the national heavyweight title, beating Francesco Cirinesi (Athlon Trapani) and Andrea Pieristi (Banzai Cortina Roma) by ippon (technical knockout). To the great success of Adorno is added the bronze medal of Nicole Capelli in the women’s heavyweights, while Mirco Bettelli stopped in fifth place, touching the medal in the 66 kg. Good performance for Davide Vecchi (55 kg) and Mattia Savi (60 kg), both with a win, but unfortunately ended up far from the podium.

The next appointment for the Kodokan cadet team will be the stage of the Fijlkam National Grand Prix staged in Naples at the end of the month.
