Creation of a baby-bad – Cusset (03300)

A At the Badminton-Club Vichy Cusset, chaired by Vincent Raboutot, badminton players see life in pink at the start of the season. With 150 licensees each year, the BCVC remains the only one of the 10 Allier clubs to play at regional level. The pennant team, made up of 7 competitors, 4 girls and 3 boys, will evolve in regional 3, will start the competition on October 9 and will aim for the top of the table.

Creation of the baby-bad

Behind team one, two teams will be engaged in departmental 1, (D1), one in D2, and possibly a team in D3, depending on the numbers. Important novelty this year, with its silver label awarded by the national federation which recognizes the quality work of the club in favor of young people, the BCVC will offer a new slot called baby-bad, intended for 4 to 6 year olds, for a discovery of this sport. Four qualified coaches, one of whom is an employee of the club who also takes care of logistics, provide training, dividing up the different time slots.

Mondays and Thursdays, starting at 7:30 p.m., are reserved for free play. Tuesday, from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., leisure and competition. Wednesday, special children, from 6 to 15 years old, from 6 pm, just like Friday for baby-bad and children. All training takes place in the Valery-Larbaud high school gymnasium. Appearing in the top 3 Auvergne Rhône Alpes for the organization of high-level competitions, the Cusset club will organize two national competitions at the Cusset sports hall, on January 14 and 15, as well as March 4 and 5, 2023. These tournaments welcome more than 300 competitors each year, with players belonging to the top 20 of French badminton. People wishing to discover this game, which requires skill and tactics, can benefit from 2 free trial sessions.
