Traditionally, the City of Kortrijk pays tribute to the Kortrijk Provincial, Flemish and Belgian champions at the city hall every year: this year there are more than 50 athletes.
The ceremony took place in the Gothic room of the town hall. All champions were asked for each discipline/club to receive the congratulations from the ships of Sport and to receive a gift. After the ceremony, a group photo of all champions was traditionally taken. They competed in athletics, badminton, billiards, dance/hip hop, duathlon, kayak, kickboxing, figure skating, powerlifting, cycling, swimming and windsurfing. The G-sport was also not forgotten with champions in bowling, petanque, futsal (indoor football) and padel.
