Ahead of the Denmark Open 2022 on October 18, BWF as of Tuesday (04/10/22) has removed world ranking points from week 48 to week 51 in 2019. The deletion of these points created several surprises.
It started with the departure of women’s doubles badminton from China, Chen Qingchen / Jia Yifan after 96 weeks at the top.
The position of Chen Qingchen / Jia Yi Fan was shifted by South Korean badminton athletes, Kim So-yeong / Kong Hee Yong. While the Indonesian women’s doubles, Apriyani Rahayu/Siti Fadia are still ranked 28th in the BWF world.
Febriana Dwi Puji Kusuma/Amalia Cahaya Pratiwi, who have just become runners up in the Vietnam Open 2022, have rocketed four steps to 29th in the BWF world.
The latest BWF rankings two weeks before the Denmark Open 2022 also occur in the men’s doubles sector. Kevin Sanjaya/Marcus Fernaldi Gideon are back at the top again after being evicted to third place.

Currently, the ranking of badminton players from the PB club Djarum Dejan Ferdinansyah/Gloria Emanuelle Widjaja has rocketed 16 ladders through 60 worlds.
