Bourges, reigning French champion, raced in the lead (+8 at the end of the first quarter) and the Landaises, victorious in the Coupe de France, never knew how to reverse the course of the game. Pauline Astier (12 points and 4 assists, MVP of the game), Anete Steinberga (16 points) and Laëtitia Guapo (14 points) particularly shone on the Tango side.

The indestructible Céline Dumerc (8 points and 3 rebounds) and Lidija Turcinovic (14 points, 5 rebounds) allowed the residents of Mont-de-Marsan to keep hope and not be totally unhooked, without being able to get their hands on the match.
Bourges will now host Olympiakos for the first Euroleague match of the season, before starting the Championship against Roche Vendée. The Landaises will host Girona in the Euroleague before a first trip to the Toulouse Métropole floor for the first match of LFB.
