Published in association news mass sport

At the latest after third place in the team competition at the Olympic Games in Tokyo, we know that Germany can fight as a team. With the “Bavaria International Judo Open for Mixed Teams”, clubs and regions now have the chance to grow together as a team and compete with others.

On December 17, 2022, the “Bavaria” will take place for the first time in the centrally located Ingolstadt. Three clubs have come together to organize the event as a team in the fantastic Paul-Wegmann-Halle.

Each TEAM consists of 7 judoka u15 (4m/3w), 7 judoka u18 (4m/3w) and 6 judoka men/women (3m/3w). Thus, the young athletes can start together with their role models in a common team.

In addition to great trophies and medals for the top four teams, there is prize money for those who place. There is a scale here, depending on the number of registrations, since the entry fees serve as the basis for this.

prize money:

With 4 registered teams1.Platz: 200,-€
For 5-8 registered teams:1.Platz: 300,-€2.Platz: 200,-€
With 9 – 16 registered teams:1.Platz: 350,-€2.Platz: 250,-€3.Platz: 200,-€

After the event, a joint visit to the Christmas market in Ingolstadt (https://www.christkindlmarkt-ingolstadt.de) and the ice arena (https://in-city.de/eisarena-2022/) at Paradeplatz.

It will certainly be a great and exciting end-of-year event and maybe there will also be Olympic starters in one or the other team. You can always find further and up-to-date information on the homepage of the Bavarian Judo Association
