FiNANCiE, a next-generation crowdfunding service, announced on October 5 that it will start issuing and selling tokens for the professional basketball club Aomori Watts.
“Aomori Watts” is a professional basketball club belonging to the B.LEAGUE B2 league. Based in Aomori City, Aomori Prefecture, it is operated by Aomori Sports Creation. The club is the first professional sports team established in Aomori Prefecture, and is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year.
This will be the 8th team to issue tokens with “FiNANCiE” as a club affiliated with B.LEAGUE. “Iwate Big Bulls”, “Saga Ballooners”, “Kagoshima Revnais”, “Levanga Hokkaido”, “Shinshu Brave Warriors”, “Yokohama B-Corsairs”, and “Sendai 89ERS” have already funded by issuing tokens. .
This time, “Aomori Watts” will utilize “FiNANCiE” to further strengthen the bonds between “fans”, “players”, “clubs” and “regions” and expand the community, while aiming for B1 and new B1. He said he would go.
By the way, “New B1” is a league that will start from the 2026-27 season with new licensing standards for B1. Clubs that meet the criteria for the venue, such as an average of 4,000 visitors for the second consecutive term, sales of 1.2 billion yen or more, and the right to operate the arena, can enter the new B1. The first review for entry will take place in October 2024.
The tokens issued on FiNANCiE this time will be sold as “Aomori Watts Tokens”.
Purchasers of “Aomori Watts Token” will be able to participate in voting projects that are part of team management, invite to participatory events, and apply for special lotteries. Voting is structured so that the number of votes increases according to the number of tokens owned, and the probability of winning the lottery benefit varies depending on the ratio of the number of tokens owned. Limited benefits will also be offered to supporters who hold a certain amount of tokens. Tokens issued by FiNANCiE are neither securities under the Financial Instruments and Exchange Act nor crypto assets (virtual currencies) under the Payment Services Act.
