Melilla Sport Capital La Salle remains for this first part of the season without Aminata Traoré, one of the basic players in coach Paulino Puerto’s game schemes. And it is that the Malian center has been injured during her participation in the Women’s Basketball World Cup, which took place until this past weekend in Australia.

Traoré could be in dry dock for several months, although the final diagnosis and the evaluation of the medical tests to which she has been subjected are awaited.

Undoubtedly, a significant loss for the Lasallian team ahead of its debut in the Women’s Challenge League, whose first match will be played this Saturday, in the Canary Islands, against Adareva Tenerife. With a view to that first clash of the 2022-2023 academic year, the Melilla coach hopes to be able to count on the rest of his squad, including Alana Gonçalo and Sarah Imovbioh, who will land in our city in the next few hours.
