Aleix Garcia: “Of course I sign the tie at the Bernabéu”

Along with Stuani, Juanpe and Valery, Aleix Garcia is one of the only survivors of the squad that achieved the historic victory at the Santiago Bernabéu in the League in the 2018_19 season (1-2). The Ulldecona midfielder remembers that match with “happiness” and urges the dressing room to face Sunday’s game with “the same mentality” in order to draw something positive from it. “Oh and so much so that I sign the tie” the Ebrenc said this afternoon.

THE RECORD OF 2019

“We had a great second half. In the end they beat us a lot and we suffered a lot, but in the end we resisted. I remember a lot of happiness. I entered the second half and I don’t know if we revolutionized the game a little or not, but in the end we won. I’m happy to have been there. Now the stage is different. Everything has changed. Of course, we have to face it with the same mentality and compete to the maximum.”

THE RECIPE

“We don’t know. Madrid can give the feeling that it is wrong and in any play Vinicius or Benzema will score you a goal out of nowhere. They are coming from a long week in the Champions League and we don’t know if they will rotate for the Celtic game We have to enjoy and be the protagonists with the ball as much as possible despite knowing that we will be in a field that imposes a lot.

L’FOUR

“Of course I’ll sign him. Now, just to get a draw we need to play a perfect game. If they give me a role, I’d sign right now.”

MOMENT PERSONAL

“I’m finding a version and regularity that I never had in the First. Only last season in the Second. This is thanks to the confidence that Míchel gives me. I’m happy and getting better and better. It was a pride for me to show off the armband of captain last Sunday. Now, we hope that little by little the results can bring us joy.”
