Although the announcement of the new Air Jordan 1 Mid Exploration Unit is exciting, it is not a surprise, because since its creation in 1997, the brand Jordanaffiliated with Nikehas not stopped looking for the satisfaction of the sneakerheads from around the world using new color palettes and patterns.
Jordan pays tribute to lunar exploration
Under that premise, on the eve of a possible reconquest of the Moon by NASA, Jordan decided to explore the cosmos while keeping his feet on the ground. With its new collection on the theme of interstellar exploration, the Jumpman brand offers a pair of Air Jordan 1 Mid Exploration Unit in a totally new color combination.
The model, created in 1987 by Tinker Hatfield to respond to the problem of the size of the Air Jordan 1 and 2 that caused difficulties for Michael Jordan in his movements -the Air Jordan 1 Mid— have become one of the most requested models of the American brand. Now the silhouette is presented in a new range of details and materials to achieve a spatial aesthetic, bringing to life the Air Jordan 1 Mid Exploration Unit.
The pair combines off-white white leather at the base with perforated nubuck and gray-toned suede leather overlays. The Swoosh burgundy contrasts perfectly with the translucent blue lapels and the sole of the same color. A turquoise blue patch on the tongue with the Jumpman in the center surrounded by the inscription “Jordan Exploration Unit” completes the front look of the new Air Jordan 1 Mid Exploration Unit. On the heels, the name “Jordan” in 3D enhances the shoes.
