Aaron Judge finally hits his 62nd homer

That’s it: Aaron Judge hit his 62nd homer of the season, which allows him to get his hands on the American record.

After Albert Pujols, the Judge has just handed down his 62nd sentence.

I don’t think I need to tell you that the Judge was under a lot of pressure. Everyone (or almost) wanted to see him beat such a mark and that’s it.

His 60th homer was hit Sept. 20 and his 61st, Sept. 28. We’ve been waiting for him for a long time, but he rarely had balls to his liking and he didn’t just aim for the fence to get there.

That explains why he’s so close to the Triple Crown, by the way.

Even though the circuit took place in Texas, it was warmly applauded by a team that has nothing to gain in 2022 anyway.

Whether home run #62 is the real record in your eyes or the American’s record, we are still talking about the exclamation point of one of the most extraordinary seasons in recent major league history, which does not is not nothing.

Well done, Aaron.

  • The Nationals have the worst record in major league baseball.
