Drafting. The Albal City Council called a meeting with local groups, at the House of Culture, to publicize the roadmap marked for the drafting of a Municipal Equality Plan where citizens, and more specifically local entities, can say theirs , through the participation of a Focus Group.
The informative talk was given by Ana Alonso, general director of Psicas, who was accompanied by the coordinator of the Focus Grup project, Marillac Sánchez. Emphasizing the labor, salary and gender gaps that still exist between men and women was the content of the meeting in which people from local civil society participated.
The event, which was held at the House of Culture, was chaired by the mayor, Ramóm Marí, together with the Councilor for Equality, Melani Jiménez, and included the participation of the Association of Relatives and People with Mental Illness (AFPEM).
Other groups such as Sororidad por Albal, the AMPA of the San Blas school, the Judo club, the Albal La Murta Dance Group, the Andalusian Cultural Association ACA, the biker association and political representatives of the corporation also participated. Involving them in the construction of a more just and egalitarian town was the objective of the day.
