Quindiano badminton continues to rise, with positive results.
Quindian athletes added 2 gold and 2 silver medals
Nicolás Morales, Sergio Zapata and Mónica Gutiérrez stood out for Quindío in the Valid National Badminton Junior Category which took place in Yumbo, Valle del Cauca, in which they added 2 gold and 2 silver medals.
Nicolás Morales won gold in the men’s singles; Sergio Zapata, silver in men’s singles; For their part, in doubles, Morales and Sergio Zapata, who are part of the Salvavidas sports program, of Indeportes Quindío, won the gold record in men’s doubles, and Zapata and Mónica Gutiérrez won silver in mixed doubles.
Now they will get ready to defend their hometown in Armenia in the Third Valid National Seniors, which will be developed at the University of Quindío. The best in the country will gather there in search of points for the ranking.
