1. FC Köln: Despite the Uefa ban: Steffen Baumgart expects 1000 FC fans Sports

The people of Cologne won’t be dissuaded from the euro adventure that easily…

Despite the Uefa ban on FC after the Nice riots (BILD reported) to sell fan tickets for the last two away games in the Euro, like last time in Belgrade, today (6.45 p.m. / RTL +) in such an important game at FC Slovacko expected numerous FC supporters. In addition to private trips (plane, train, car) to the Czech Republic, the fan project even offered a collection tour in the bus.

“I’m assuming 1000 people will be there. Wherever…” says coach Steffen Baumgart (50).

Background: The stadium (8000 seats) is sold out. Many FC fans had already secured tickets through FC Slovacko before the Uefa ban. He had offered a package where you could buy league tickets and get a ticket for the Cologne game on top of that.

Some FC fans took advantage of the deal, gave away the league tickets to children’s homes and today – like last time in Belgrade – try to come to the stadium incognito…

Despite the UEFA penalty, the FC itself is entitled to 200 tickets, which the club can allocate internally. Around 120 of these cards were retrieved.
