In the Conference League game at Partizan Belgrade (today, 6.45 p.m. / RTL +) there is only one FC goal: not to lose!

► Cologne slipped to third place in Group D due to the first-leg defeat (0:1) against the Serbs and would therefore – as of now – be eliminated after the group phase.

► If Belgrade beat FC again today and Nice beat Slovacko at the same time, both clubs would be four points ahead of Cologne with two games left in the group stage.

Would mean: FC wouldn’t even have second place (intermediate round) in their own hands. Even two wins in the last two games in Slovacko and against Nice would only help if Nice or Belgrade still blunder.

That’s why Cologne has to get at least a draw so that Belgrade can’t pull away and Nice can still be intercepted in a direct duel!
