What happened? Alexandre Guimaraes, DT of América de Cali, congratulated Medellín and then complained

The defeat this Saturday of America against Medellin, for date 11 of the League, left many reflections for the coach of the red box of Cali, Alexandre Guimaraes.

The scarlet helmsman acknowledged that the rival was fine for a good part of the match, but that America, with the changes, reacted and balanced the charges.

“We were able to get out of that daze that hit us after 20 minutes and we had to redo what we were practicing. Later, with the changes we made, I think the team was able to balance the match,” Guimaraes said.

He hinted that the loss of the nine-date undefeated does not worry him because the road is long.

“It would be too delusional to think that we were going to win the championship undefeated,” he limited himself to saying.

Finally, Guimaraes praised Medellín for what they did, but complained that they made him wait longer than necessary to attend to the media.

“Congratulations to the rival for the victory, they beat us well, but it’s a shame that there was such discourtesy to us; we are visitors and we were the first in the press conference, we had to wait more than 20 minutes,” he said.

America will face Patriotas the next date, a match that will be played at the Pascual Guerrero on September 18.
