The recording that went viral on social networks was published by the journalist Ricardo Arce; There, former player and coach Diego Edison Umaña is seen talking informally with a citizen, who asked him about the team’s sports situation and if he would return to the bench of the cast with which he knew how to become champion in 2008.
However, Umaña’s response surprised everyone because of the crude revelation he made, since the strategist assured that a leader negotiated the permanence of América de Cali in the second division.
“The last time I had a fight with that Sangiovanni [expresidente del club]because they fixed three years to be in B. I realized it, I fought and now I don’t direct because of that, ”said Umaña at that time.
