Because the ex-national player (14 appearances/4 goals) has a curious vice, as he reveals on his YouTube show “Die Kruses” (20,600 subscribers): “It’s such a small tick from me. I always have to be the last to get off the team bus.”

Last year’s Olympic participant hasn’t traveled with the wolves for a long time. Three weeks ago he was suspended by VfL. Under head coach Niko Kovac (50), Kruse will no longer play a competitive game.
Too bad actually. Even Wolfsburg’s supervisory board chairman, Frank Witter, recently raved about his brilliant moments on the pitch: “He takes responsibility and for me is an exceptional footballer who does things on the pitch that not many can.”

Kruse is currently injured (torn muscle). The social media king of the Bundesliga can be back on the training ground at the end of November at the earliest.
By the way, in January he wants to think about his future football career. At VfL he still has a contract until the summer of 2023, premature dissolution is currently not an issue for Kruse.
Nevertheless, he dreams of moving to the USA. Recently, Los Angeles FC showed initial interest.
