Verstappen on pole ahead of Leclerc and Sainz

(Adnkronos) – Max Verstappen hits the pole position of the Dutch GP at the Zandvoort circuit. The Dutchman of Red Bull laps in 1’10 “342 ahead of the two Ferraris of the Monegasque Charles Leclerc (1’10” 363) and the Spaniard Carlos Sainz (1’10434). Fourth time for the Mercedes of the English Lewis Hamilton (1’10 “648) who leaves behind the Red Bull of the Mexican Sergio Perez (1’11” 077), finished on the wall in the last seconds of qualifying, and the compatriot and teammate George Russell (1’11 “147).

“Yesterday was a difficult day, we worked all night to be able to reverse the situation and today we did a good lap even though the Ferraris are very close.” These are the words of Max Verstappen after hitting the pole.

“Here the atmosphere is crazy, incredible, I thank the public – emphasizes the Red Bull driver -. We changed a lot after yesterday’s free practice, we did things in a hurry to put together the car that today was again pleasant from to drive”.
